The Holy Spirit, Our DNA -Michelle Scott


Have you ever worried about whether or not you are a Christian? Oh, course we all have! Christians are people who have the Holy Spirit of God living in them. If you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior and acknowledge Him as your Lord. Then the Holy Spirit will come into your life, and you will become a Christian. True Christians follow Christ! We live our daily lives in His steps. We wake up in Christ and we go to rest in Him. He is in our DNA. So if you are putting on Christ only on Sunday mornings, and stepping out of His grace on the way home, you may have a serious problem, one greater than you want to acknowledge. Because you aren't in His Will. But know this He forgives us. You won't know that the Holy Spirit has come, if you are waiting on a certain feeling; yet you will know He has come because He promised He would. And when the Holy Spirit is working within us, we will begin to act as Christ directs us! We will find help in our daily problems and in our praying. We will be empowered to serve God and do His will and we will become part of God's holy plan to build up His church!
The Holy Spirit is God's promise or guarantee of eternal life for those who believe in Him. His Spirit is in us now by faith, and by faith we are certain to live with Christ forever, and that's the best part!

Years ago my music-minister and I were shopping for a new keyboard. It was at noon that we entered a big music-shop in Johannesburg/South Africa. There was a salesman, but he took no notice of us and Adam and I tried out all the keyboards. Suddenly the salesman appeared. He seemed to be in a different mood, something like in a state of shock and said to me “Sir, I can see Jesus in your eyes!” What? The Holy Spirit had entered that shop. We forgot all about the keyboard and ha d a revival instead. But when I was walking back to my car I kept saying “Lord, I will never understand. How can a total stranger walk up to me and say ‘Sir, I can see Jesus in your eyes’?”. Suddenly the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “No problem! To be frank with you, when I read what my Sister, ( Gloria Stevens ) wrote by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, I REPENTED!!! I promise, this will change your life. JESUS SPEAKING...
