"I am Enjoying God..." - Jake Richards

My bosom friend, Jake Richards Ekpang said he is "...enjoying God, and God is enjoying Him". Wow, how this best defines true Christianity.
Christianity is not another tyrannical order of a religious sect, NOR is it a bunch of rules and rituals to lead folks to spiritual and soulish sanctity. It is a relationship with the Man Jesus. When you go deeper with the Lord, you'll realize that this Great God of the universe can be so close a Friend. Yet, not on the grounds of your claimed perfections, but rather, on the grounds of His gift of righteousness. I think some Christians just need this perspective and at least, garnish their lives with a little boldness, else, their Christianity will be a bad representation of God's intention for SALVATION.

Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Years ago my music-minister and I were shopping for a new keyboard. It was at noon that we entered a big music-shop in Johannesburg/South Africa. There was a salesman, but he took no notice of us and Adam and I tried out all the keyboards. Suddenly the salesman appeared. He seemed to be in a different mood, something like in a state of shock and said to me “Sir, I can see Jesus in your eyes!” What? The Holy Spirit had entered that shop. We forgot all about the keyboard and ha d a revival instead. But when I was walking back to my car I kept saying “Lord, I will never understand. How can a total stranger walk up to me and say ‘Sir, I can see Jesus in your eyes’?”. Suddenly the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said “No problem!
